We're committed to supporting the professional growth of K-12 social studies teachers across Kansas

We hope to offer a variety of opportunities as you work to become better at your craft. Besides the information on outside resources available under Teacher Resources, we offer face to face workshops and a yearly conference in partnership with other professional organizations in Kansas. 

STATE CONFERENCE SCHEDULED FOR FEBRUARY 21, 2026!

We partner with the Kansas Council for History Education, the Kansas Geographic Alliance, and the Kansas Council for Economic Education to host a spring statewide social studies conference.
